The Christopher Meredith Foundation and ATC Live Announce Strategic Partnership to Support Mental Health in the Music Industry

The Christopher Meredith Foundation, an organisation dedicated to supporting grassroots music initiatives and promoting mental health within the music industry, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with ATC Live, a leading live music agency. This collaboration aims to honour the legacy of Christopher Meredith, who was a beloved member of the ATC Live team, by fostering a sustainable music industry where everyone can thrive.

Christopher Meredith was a passionate advocate for emerging artists and a dedicated member of the ATC Live family. In his memory, The Christopher Meredith Foundation was established to continue his work by providing resources and support to grassroots music efforts and by addressing the critical issue of mental health within the music community.

Through this partnership, The Christopher Meredith Foundation will provide funding for internships at ATC Live, giving the next generation of music industry professionals the opportunity to gain invaluable experience and insights into the live music sector. In addition, the partnership will offer mental health training and support for the entire ATC Live team, ensuring that the well-being of those who bring music to the world is prioritised.

“We are honoured to partner with ATC Live to continue Christopher’s legacy,” said Sadie Meredith, Trustee at The Christopher Meredith Foundation. “This partnership not only creates opportunities for emerging talent but also reinforces the importance of mental health within the industry. We believe that by working together, we can build a more sustainable and supportive music industry for everyone.”

Alex Bruford, Founder at ATC Live, added, “Christopher was an integral part of our team, and we are deeply committed to carrying forward his passion for music and his concern for the well-being of our community. This partnership with The Christopher Meredith Foundation is a meaningful way for us to do that. By supporting young people from diverse backgrounds into the music industry and prioritising mental health, we hope to create an environment where all members of the music industry can flourish.”

In addition to the immediate initiatives of funding internships and providing mental health support, both organisations will continue to explore further opportunities to promote sustainability and wellness within the music industry. This partnership marks a significant step towards creating a music industry that is not only thriving creatively but also supportive and inclusive for all who contribute to it.
